Croft - 12th May /

Well we've been very luck so far this year but think there's not much doubt this one is going to be a bit damp. Good practice though ;) http://uk.weather.com/weather/local/UKXX0817?x=11&post=post&code=code&y=8
The response to Dave's recent survey showed that everybody was finding the weather a bit predictable of late so we thought we'd make it more interesting.:) As long as we haven't got mid engined rear drive cars what's there to worry about?..... On a serious note everybody takes it very steady in the rain so there's nothing for anyone to worry about. See you Saturday (fitted my new wipers last night:) ) Neil
I remember a very wet day at Brands last year. It was a LoT trackday and I was the only MGF, whilst it was raining I was the fastest car on track :o) It all changed though when it dried out but it made me pretty feel good whilst it lasted.
.. afternoon wet - passing loads of Elises :D
Was that on your Bridgestones Dave
Was that on your Bridgestones Dave
Yep - Bridgestone SO2s - never been on track with any other tyres!
So much for the forecast, the weather couldn't have been better. I'd forgotten how good Croft was to drive. We will be back. Neil
Indeed, so much for my meteorological skills. We were so lucky, threatened rain all day but that wind kept it away. Is there some legislation that requires all pit garages to be built such that the prevailing wind blows directly through them ;) What a cracking circuit Croft is. Looking forward to next year.
Lots of big words there Balrog.. well done to Dave and the team.. cant wait till next year going back in june :) :)
Is there some legislation that requires all pit garages to be built such that the prevailing wind blows directly through them
That's done for the Lotus guys to blow all the oilseed rape of their cars after they've tried an alternative route off the circuit.:)
