I've now uploaded some photos from the first MG session to the gallery. As always, I have the full resolution versions if anyone wants them. Just send me a Private Message through this forum and let me know which pics you want. Even without driving I had a really good day on Friday - thanks to Ralph, Mark and Rob for letting me tag along for a ride!! You all seemed to be having fun out there! :D

Jennie , Great photo's. When are we going to hear all about what went on ?, how was the weather, did everyone enjoy themselves, how was the food ?, I only wish I was with you all, but it looks like I'm going to have to wait ANOTHER year, still, Sepang won't be too far away :-) Mike

Great photos, Jenny! I 've now posted some of the photos. Unfortunately, the Net Nanny at work won't let me post the second set of 10 photos - it gives a 'DDR Request value = 22' error.

110% enjoyment factor I nearly didn't book for this event, the 500 mile round trip seemed a bit of a choker. However, those who didn't take part for that reason - shame on you! You missed a very entertaining circuit, technically quite challenging but rewarding when the correct line is taken. As is usual with Dave at the helm, the organisation was faultless and the atmosphere very friendly, and hats off to the marshals for braving the biting wind the whole day. With perfect timing the rain held off until the end of the day, seems it was saving itself for the Lambusters run! Whilst the surface isn't quite as glassy-smooth as Brands, the grip was excellent, and some interesting cambers gave me a few sideways moments when pushing a little too hard. Fairly easy-going on tyres & brakes, and better suited to the F than some of the bigger circuits IMO. The instruction I booked was very useful, showed me where I could be quicker out of the bends by being slower into them, particularly the hairpin. As for how I managed a 360 spin shortly afterwards, I'm remaining tight-lipped! So, a big thanks to everyone involved in the organisation, and I'll not hesitate to return next time, the only thing I'll be careful of is how accessible the B&B is to MGFs with lowered suspension - I think I got off lighter than Dave there. ________ HONDA C77

Hi all Just a quick thank you to Dave and all! Fantastic day at the Anglesey circuit. Yes a very challenging track. I think i was just about getting the hang of it by the end! Have some great footage on track ..anyway it looks promising . The close up shots of my tyres/rear wheels ,Wow. I knew it happened but with standard tyres it looks a bit worrying!....EEK! I will have to invest in some proper performance wheels/tyres! :) . Again thanks to the marshalls , circuit organisers and instructors for their invaluble help and tuition! thanks Dave for a great day!

Thanks everyone for making it a great day and thanks for the kind words on this thread. Credit must also go to Steve Childs and Neil and Jennie Stothert for their help on the day. I must admit that we were worried that we'd not get enough people going, but in the end it turned out just great with 13 MGs making the trip. The support from the MX5 club and Lotus on Track was also invaluable in making the day viable for all of us. I really enjoyed myself on track. As several people have mentioned already, it's a great little circuit and well worth the trip. My heart sank when I discovered that my car's nearside exhaust bracket had gone walkabouts after the first session. (Thanks SteveC for spotting this!) I think it received the 'coup de grace' from the farm track at the B&B after breakfast! Fortunately, the MX5 guys with the orange cars came to my rescue with a strong bit of cable, a jubilee clip and some cable ties. This combination seems to have kept the exhaust in the right place and even the cable ties were still intact some 300 miles later after getting home from Lambusters! I can't wait to see Jonathan's video - those bullet cams are superb.:D
