You are obviously registered on the website, but perhaps you were not logged in when you tried to book? As long as you are booked in you should be able to click on the 'event info' link in the Silverstone event box on the left hand side of the home page. This will bring up a new section (headed "Event Information") in the middle of the screen that describes the Silverstone evening. Scroll down until you see a subheading "Booking" and underneath should be two buttons - one labelled "I'm Interested" and the other "Book and Pay". Note that if you are not logged in correctly to the website you will not see these buttons. Click on the "Book and Pay' button and you will be presented with a payments screen that you can fill in. Once you have completed this you should receive an automatic email to let you know that your booking has been accepted. If you have any trouble, then give me a call on 07740 582830. Regards, Dave

Hi David, I notice from your profile that you are a first timer, if you have never done a track day before unfortunately this evening is not open to you. Silverstone themselves require all drivers who have never done a track day to undertake an initial assessemnt with an ARDS instructor, because this evening is only 1 1/4 hours track time there really isn't sufficient time for this to be done. This is from our booking page, Unfortunately we cannot take bookings for this event from anyone who has never been on a track day before. Silverstone require all first-timers to take an assessment before being allowed on track and this is not possible within the time available in an evening session. Whilst we make every effort and positively welcome first timers at our events, this stipulation is entirely the circuit owners and we must abide by that as the hirer of the circuit. At this moment in time it is only SIlverstone who have this rule and when we have the full day at the circuit it does allow us to undertake the assessments in the first session. Please accept our apologies if this does rule you out from this event, but I hope we can see you at one of our other remaining events this year. Martin.

Hi I'm about to book the Silverstone evening and just to pre-empt any confusion, my profile says 'first timer' which I am, but by the time Silverstone comes around I won't be. I'm booked in for a novice afternoon at brands on 25th June so I might see some MGOT drivers coming in as I'm leaving.

Hi John Why not stay on for a bit at brands and meet some of the other members.. Most people will be arriving from about 4-15pm onwards anyway to get cars prepped etc.. Both Tim W and myself (MGOT committee members) will be at the circuit so be sure to come up and introduce yourself.:D Stu

Hi John, As you will have done your first event at Brands then you are clearly not a first timer. Once you have done your Brands event then log onto here, click on the user CP heading and then open user profile and change your track experience status from first timer to novice. As Stu mentioned please keep an eye open for us, I should be there from around 3.30pm parked outside the Kentagon centre. Look for the metallic red MGZS with the gold wheels  , come and say hello I'm Martin and also a committee member.

Thanks, I'll lurk around for a while and if I spot any other MGs I'll stop for a friendly chat.
