Chris' GF Shell took some photos which I'll get round to putting up over the next few days. In the meantime here's one of Chris M.Eng. getting a lesson from Stu B.F. as to which is his right hand and a series of me caught in the act of demonstrating the alternative line through Bobbies.

Glad to see that you all had a great time and it seems that, once again, you were blessed with the MGOT sunshine stick.
Shell has taken some great pictures (as usual:) ) but there are none of the 650bhp SV that was in the attendees list? Did he turn up?

I do hope that it wasn't serious? It must have been a sight to see/hear whilst it was going though!

I believe it blew a coolant hose off, so hopefully caught before any damage was done. It is a sight when they are out, but the noise is not all it ought to be, due to noise test it had extra silencers :(
I'm uploading the photos in batches now, but I see they are "pending approval" What is that all about, I've never had this problem before?
Cheers,
Martin.

No idea Martin but I just went into the admin system and clicked the little approve button against each one of them. Hopefully that'll do it.
Doubtless someone who understands where the gallery has gone wrong will be along shortly.
Didn't have the problem when I uploaded Chris'

It's no big deal, as it generates loads of messages in my inbox which I can't ignore. I'd just started to approve them as Tim joined in and finished them off!

Thanks
Thanks Dave and Tim for the approvals, I wonder if it is because I uploaded them as zip.files this time?
In the past I've always uploaded them individually, but thought I'd be clever this time and save myself a whole heap of time, which it did.
But not much help if it gives you guys a heap of work
If anybody wants hi-res copies of any, just PM me with the number under the photo and I'll get them off.
Cheers,
Martin.

Just a quick word of thanks from a 'non-Octogon-arian' for yet another excellent day out. Superbly well organised, and thanks to all those involved with setting it up.... and especially to whoever was responsible for ordering in the weather !
Also, would like to say thank you to the ARDS instructor (whose name, I'm embarrassed to say; I've forgotten:o ) who showed me the 'proper way' to get through the twisty bits. I was changing up on the straights about 20 yards sooner, than I had before; so, proof that I was carrying more speed out of the bends:cool: Money well spent.... I'm still trying to work out why I declined the offer of a second (free) instructional session in the afternoon:confused: If you've not taken up the chance to get advice from these guys before; I can definitely recommend it. I've done dozens of laps of CC, and was convinced (somewhat arrogantly, as it turns out !) that I was going as fast as I could go in my car without more power - Wrong !!

Glad you enjoyed the day Chris, indeed instruction is a very cheap way of improving your car's performance. Have to say that I was a bit disappointed with the uptake of instructor sessions; we made a small loss on the day against what we paid for them. No matter, its important that they are there and something we should continue to provide.
Great photos again Martin. Would love a copy of _044 and _046 mailed to Tim.G@MGs-on-Track.com.
