Hi all, while we're on the theme of 'great days, but....' i'd just like to add another point that will help ALL of us whilst out on track.. Siting Laps: these laps are designed to allow all drivers to familiarise themselves with the track, marshall posts, safety lights, run offs and THE CORRECT LINE!! the pace car we follow gives the correct line for all corners and at a slow enough speed to see where it is. all we have to do is follow the car infront EXACTLY and then EVERYONE can see the correct line whether you're at the front, middle or back of the pack. ive noticed at all the events ive been to people do not pay attention during these laps and the people at the back do not get a fair enough chance to learn the track properly. this is aimed at everyone and not just newbies. so please do as instructed for these few laps and give everyone a good chance of learning the correct racing line :D thank you and good night Chris

Hi Chris. Yes the problem with siting laps is that if each car is as little as 6" off line from the the car in front, that's a whole car width by the time you're ten cars back. If its a track I don't know I try to be near the front for the first session. How's your car :(

yeah me too, i actually got right behind malc at snetty and it also helped to watch some videos on you tube before i went, i do this for a few weeks before i go to any track to try and get the circuit in my head and printing off a track layout often helps to visualise. finally got car to Mike Saturs today, so he should be taking a look tomorrow (thurs) had another AA man out and he reckons it could be the followers, he says i shouldn't have had high lift cams with standard followers?!? or was it lifters?? are they the same?? :p hopefully it'll not be a too much to get repaired and might even be on the road for cadwell!! touch wood, crossing fingers, rabbit foot, lucky heather etc i think i'll need it!! lol
