This years MGCC Silverstone International is benefiting from some new thinking and looks likely to be even better than prior years. The club is keen to see a big turnout and MG owners are asked to encourage other motor enthusiasts to join them. All the details and on-line booking can be found here http://www.mgcc.co.uk/

MG International Anyone who enjoyed weaving around cones at North Weald could enter the california cup autotest on the saturday morning of the Silverstone International meet. You can show your interest on the booking form mentioned on the previous post. Good fun, cheap entry, easy to comply with regs (additional external throttle return spring is about as tricky as it gets this is explained in more detail in the regulations that are sent out or talk to anyone that competes) no helmets, harnesses and rollbars required. I was quite chuffed at getting 4th in class (standard Midgets) on my first attempt and very chuffed at getting my name printed in an official Silverstone programme. I'll be back this year.

Let's hope that the weather holds up and that any showers are short.

Just a quick post to thank the non-committee members for their assistance in helping to man the MGoT stand at Silverstone this weekend. We're always on the look out for 'friends of MGoT' to help out on such occasions, as it helps reduce the burden on the committee members who undertake most of these tasks. If you're interested or able to help out next year (or at any events in between!), then please let either Dave or myself know. Thanks again - it was much appreciated.
