I booked 2 night at the M40 T/L for Silverstone only to find it went down by £10 per night a week later ...:o Also Barton Mills is not yet showing any bargains for the 16th & 17th .. Last year I had 1 cheap night at each ...:cool: So bide your time and keep watching the T/L sight ....Bests Gary ..:)

08/02/2008 20:33:32 Gary&BVZ [b]A bit of a lottery.[/b] Just looked at the T/Lodge site and it looks like Cringleford is now down to £29 on the 16th and 17th ...:) Barton Mills has rooms at £26 if you go in through the B/Mills site and NOT the special offers site ..:p What will I do ????:confused: In the off chance that some members will be able to get together for a meal the night before Snetty and possibly a Rolling Road Shootout can be arranged at Emereld before or after Snetty I am going for 2 nights at Cringleford .. The right choice ???? Who knows ...I never have been lucky ...I had a rocking horse that died ....:o

21/02/2008 15:49:06 Dave Cringleford is now down to £19 for the evening of 17th but £39 for the evening of the 16th. Norwich central (just 3 miles further from Snetterton) is down to £19 for both nights. I think I'll stay over both nights - I get too tired these days to drive there or back on the day. As long as I don't sleep in too long the day after I reckon I'll still be in pocket, but it does take something away from attraction of the deal. :(

The other thing i considered was the RED LION INN at Eaton Norwich where we had a meal last year, they are asking £44 for a single but no breakfast. Looks like there could be one or two staying that night.If everyone is up for it we could go for an evening meal to the Red Lion in Eaton(approx 1 mile away)the same as last year.
