I'll be overnighting in Alsager near Stoke-on-Trent, so it's an early start from 112 miles away. At least there should be a bit less traffic. If there's anyone else going from that neck of the woods we could make a mini-convoy?

04/03/2008 19:01:22 CR15COX [b]Aaarrrggghhhh!!![/b] holy moly am i up the creek!!! after having some maintenance and extensive head work carried out on my car just after christmas i thought i was all set for the new track season. but last week i noticed my car starting to over heat :eek: pulled over and checked, i had lost coolant, next morning i had itm up on trolley jack and yep, the little B little was weeping from the front of the engine where the radiator pipes connect!!!! a quick call to my specialist and im booked back in this sat to get it sorted!! well it better be because im dying to get on silverstone!!! might get the new manifold done while its there tho ;) see you there kiddy winks (i hope)

11/03/2008 22:00:30 CR15COX [b]the problem....[/b] as you know from previous threads, i had quite a bit of work done at mike saturs a couple of months ago. all was going great till i noticed my engine temp shoot up :eek: and my pants filled up just as quick. after a bit of noseyin under the car on trolley jacks i could see it was leaking from a coolant pipe but couldnt get in to see which one or where from! so back to mikes and it was a chap he had working for him (who's now gone) that had been making these 'small' mistakes. but he sorted it there and then and now im back on the road but my amazing powerflow exhaust has snapped!!! one of the welds has just snapped and now its banding about in the wind. im off to see them on sat and they will repair it but its only 8months old!!! its absolutely terrible so im gonna try for a refund. i just dont want it on my car!!!!! any way ill still be there on monday :D
