16/02/2008 11:54:44 Baracus I'd just like to say a massive thank you to all the guys for organising such a fantastic event :) Sorry i can't remember all the names but thanks to you all esp Andy for the great advice and tips ;) I had a real blast of a day as i'm sure everyone else did too, esp on the top circuit ;) The best thing about the whole day and i guess the main aim of the day was the massive amount of learning what the car is actually capable of doing and the limitations of the car, to actually do all the things we did and to even try nos out in a controlled environment properly was fantastic. If anybody is thinking of or wondering what these days are about, please go and do it, you won't be dissapointed :) I liked the way it was pretty much left to your own devices to learn as much as you want to learn and push as much as you want to push and learn at your own speed as and when you feel like it, personally i couldn't stay off the track i loved it that much lol :) Had a great day guys, I know it says beginners but if there's ever another activity day please let me know cos i'll be there before anyone else :) Well worth the 3 and 1/2 - 4 hour trip down without any doubt. and it's certainly made me want to do a full track day and i feel pretty confident now about doing a full track day.. thanks Guys ;) Steve (Baracus) (Red TF 160 & nos) cheers ;) p.s. 17/02/2008 11:19:55 jan I can only echo the above post, I had an absolutely fantastic time and woud do it every day if I could! Thanks specially to Dave, Tim & Andy for their effort in making the day run incredibly smoothly and for standing round with stop watches and radar guns all day :) I'm going to upload my pics from the day in a minute - has anyone else got any? I didn't get that many I'm afraid :(

I wanted to start track days years ago but didnt have the confidence to go ahead until I took the jump last year, I wish I had gone on one of these years ago. I would be there myself (only done 2 track days so far) but am on a track day the day before. MG on track should get credit for it to because I dont think any other club do it. So if you your a MG / Rover newby get booked up, it only costs the same as 30 minutes karting.
