Well what a day, but I have to say well done to the team. Firstly Barry McCann, our organiser today and the first event he has organised. You did well Barry, most of us out there can't have any idea at the number of kittens you've had today. You did a sterling job under some trying conditions mate :) To Dave Livingstone and Stu DIckens, committee members, you guys did a superb job supporting Barry. I know you both had a few kittens as well. ;) I think you guys could have had a little more support from the circuit organisation and I hope we can go back next year and it will be a lot smoother next time. Kayleigh and I had a great time, even though I had my first off in two years and had to explain to the chief instructor that the biggest nut on the car was the one behind the wheel who had total brain fade :o

Indeed, well done Barry, those things that weren't quite as might have been expected had nothing to do with the basic organisation. Yes Martin, I agree with your comments. Dave, so sorry about your engine problem. Hope it all gets fixed up and you come back quicker than ever ;)
....and hopefully Dave's engine is well on its way to being rebuilt :)
Unfortunately not - the engine's done for. Bits of piston embedded in the head (one of Dave Andrew's finest) :( If anyone knows of a good engine somewhere - I'm interested.

That's terrible news Dave, so sorry for you. DVA heads in particular are going to be hard to come by. We all want one.

That is a tough one, as I know it is bad enough when you think the HG has gone, but to discover you need the whole show, Phew! Good luck in the search.
