This is the second year I've been to Donnington with MGs on Track, and I have to say a large thank you to Dave and his colleagues for putting on another great day. GVU 281V appears to enjoy the circuit as much as I do. We did have a couple of minor events this year, firstly boiling the breaks (for which I apologise to those whom I scared) and then suffering with over heating near the end of the day. Still, with a little bit of TLC, we'll be ready for Goodwood on the 5th November. Never tried that circuit so I'm looking forward to another great day. Thanks again to all at MGs on Track.

Indeed, thanks to the organisers and helpers. What cracking weather :) That makes a whole year of dry tracks, last wet one was Siverstone unless you count the very first session at Croft. What lucky people we are.

Brilliant Day! Excellent day! My first track day and thanks to all at MG's on track for a brilliant experience. I just have to make my little blue midget go faster! Why did that rusty green one keep flying past me!

An excellent day organised by Neil and Jennie - tremendous job guys - many thanks :D. Great work too from Stu for his weather-influencing dance technique - let's hope he can keep our weather angel amused for another couple of days this year ;)

Thanks for the comments and a big thank you to everyone that came and made it a fantastic day. Donington is always good but with sun on the tarmac and cool air going into the engine the driving was simply superb. Not content with organising and running the sign-on Jennie has now filled the gallery with photos so now I feel really guilty that she didn't get to drive. :o Neil
We did have a couple of minor events this year, firstly boiling the breaks
Hi Graham, Glad you enjoyed your day despite the hiccups. On the brakes front, by boiling the brakes are you refering to your fluid and the pedal going long or not having a pedal at all  If this is the case this is caused by the old fluid absorbing too much moisture. It would be advisable to change the fluid before Goodwood, if you've never been there before it an old school track. In other words it is very much unchanged, it is very quick, with very few sand/gravel traps and no run off area to speak of before you meet very solid earth banks. It is tremendous fun:D but you need the car in tip top condition to get the most out of it without tears. Look forward to meeting you on the 5th.

Another great day at Donington. I can't believe the weather held out. A sunny day at Donington makes for some good track time. I can remember last years, my first session of my very first track day and it tipped it down. I saw a few familiar cars from last year. It was well worth getting the tuition again. £10 for 20 minutes, bargain! I only managed to make it to Silverstone and Donington this year I'm hoping to do a few more next year.
