If you book and pay in advance you get a superb rate, it's currently still £15 per night.

Donington breakfast .
Hi Chris from Gary .. I will be staying at the Travelodge on the Thursday night with my wife ...Last year we used the Marks & Sparks shop to buy a salad for our evening meal which we took to our room .. Breakfast was coffee and chocolate biscuits plus anything brought from home ....The cafe at Donni does good tucker and you wont go hungry ...There was a Fish & Chippy also in the shopping area at the T/Lodge ..Harry Ramsden I think ..Not sure it will still be there though ..May be Stu can organise an evening meet up time ???? Bests from Gary and Denise + BUZ my ZR ..:)

A lots going to depend on the distances people are travelling and if they are working on the 4th. The Travel Lodge is actually in the Services building and there's a large open plan lobby area with the various food outlets around the outside edge.
I suppose the best thing is if you are planning to stay , post up an expected ETA at the lodge and we'll try to work out a evening meet up from there for who evers interested:D .I will probably aim to arrive early before rush hour ie. be there by 5.30pm (work permitting)
Stu
PS Assuming I have a car for the event ! (It's very poorly at the mo and looks like a full engine rebuild , it goes into Techspeed next Wednesday 22Aug)

Hi Stu ..We plan to arrive at the T/L about 4 pm , but with a journey on the M23 , M25 and M1 who knows what time we could arrive ...
We plan to leave home about 9.30 so 4pm should be possible ..
Hope your car recovers soon ...You should be mobile by October unless a transplant is required ...
C U there ...:)

looks like i'm going to be a late arriver then.
I'll not be able to get there till about 1900 depending on traffic.
But i'm sure there'll still be time for a swift half, just to help me sleep of course ;)

I stay at the Castletown House B&B - about £40 including "the full Irish" - adds about 10 secs to my lap time, but it's sooooo good !!
I'd recommend it - http://www.castletownhouse.com/
