Hi Stu
Glad you got back ok.
Great day, however it's made me decide to sell my TF. And get a 160 instead!!! Either an F or TF.
Thanks to all who organised the day.
Got to go now to try to scrub this silly grin off my face before work tomorrow - likely to take all night:D :D :D

Glad you got your car sorted and home OK Stu :) Shame you missed a couple of sessions. Thought at first you'd pulled off for a picnic on that nice grass like Dave at Brands ;)
Bad luck Martin with your HG. You were right in front of me when it went puff. Blue smoke from the exhaust :( . Hope you get it sorted soon and resonably economically.
Yes, what a great day, weather couldn't have been better and organisation up to its normal top job standard. Here's to Croft

Areed,
A cracking day and really want to go back again. glad to here the TPS worked Stu. My own journey home in the Towing tintop saw another engine failure :0( Whilst on a long drag up a hill behind a slowly overtaking truck there was a clunk from the engine, and even bigger puff of smoke and a loss of power. In the end I was able to limp home but the car is out of commission until next week. Currently in the Woolcott household we have:
1no Passat with blown Turbo
1no MGF awaiting a new HG
1no Caterham needing a new speedo cable but who needs that anyway...!
1no Bicyle needing new wheels
It's going to be an expensive month:eek:
But Still grinning from Snetterton.:)

Another fantastic track day! Well done to all those who organised it!
Martin, your head had been removed and has been taken to the machine shop to be polished flat. We should get it back tomorrow.
Tim, don't you need a new TPS for your Caterham as well? :D

Massive thanks
Hi guys, it was not only a fantastically organised event it was an absolute thrill to be part of it. From rogue steering locks to a spin  I certainly want to be at Snetterton with you chaps again. Can I thank everybody to a man who helped put my 'B' on the track.
Glad to here you all returned home ok. Stu you were right about the evening, I slept well last night and woke up to re-live the fun this morning.
Going off to see if I can do one more soon.
Cheers all

Hi Ralph,
I spoke to David this evening who told me that fortunately it is just a basic head gasket rebuild. I should have trusted my knowledge really, I knew it was questionable, but couldn't find a convenient slot to get it done before Snetty:o.
Thanks to your guys and David, who were most helpful, courteous, seem to know their stuff and I feel reassured that the car is in good hands.
It was also a great idea of yours Ralph to ask David to give me a lift to the station:confused:
Well the sound his ZS makes convinced me to add the x-power back box to the list of work you are doing.:D
Look forward to seeing you when I come to pick the old girl up.
But you MUST promise me that if I choose to look at any more of your goodies on display, you will flately refuse to sell me anything:mad:
Well the bank manager would like me to use some money that is mine and not HIS:p
Cheers,
Martin.

Hi Nigel,
It was an absolute pleasure to meet you:D . I'm glad you had such a terrific time, although I'm sorry I missed the spin;) I guess that was in the afternoon after I'd limped off.
But to be honest a huge vote of thanks is due to you. Not only did you organise our eatery on Sunday night, excellent venue. But I saw you rushing around on the day helping anybody who needed it. That is the spirit of MGOT that makes it so much fun.
I take my hat off to you Sir and very much look forward to meeting you again:cool:
Cheers,
Martin.

Blushing!
Thanks for your kind words Martin, it was a great pleasure to meet both you and the other members. I am only sorry your session was curtailed so cruelly. I hope to join you all in the future, hopefully at Donington later in the year.
I can take so much from this day as far as understanding my car and track driving, much more than I could have imagined. the next time this 'B' hits the track it will have some modifications which I hope will make the day even more satisfying.
Cheers
Nige!:D
Just try wiping that smile off of my face!
