02/04/2007 20:27:43 Muttley After a lot of fun at North Weald on Friday my interest in weaving around cones and such things was reawakened. (I did a few historic road rallies in the mid nineties and the special tests on these were very similar) I'm thinking of entering the California Cup Autotest on the Saturday of the MGCC meeting at Silverstone, has anyone ever taken part and if so what are the scrutineers looking for? I suspect it's the minimum of the safety stuff I used to have to do for the road rallies, external throttle return spring etc. My last MSA 'blue book' is ten years old and if I can avoid buying one for one event I will (more money to spend on car).
