If anyone fancies a set of D01Js but were put off by the price, now would be a good time to call EARS Motorsport ;) Their prices on Kumho track-day tyres are quite reasonable too, but if the Dunlops are only around ?30 more, I know what I'd go for... ________ VULCAN ENGINE

Well, no-one's disputing how sticky the SO2s are, I've had plenty of experience of pitting GSD2s against them! A figure of ?75 was mentioned for a 205/50 16", whether that was with or without VAT I didn't ask. With GSD2s having fallen off the availability list, I'm keeping an eye out for suitable replacements. But damn my shoestring budget, damn it to hell! :D ________ Weedmaps

£75 sounds very reasonable compared with the £98 I pay for SO2s, but then I'd need a new set of rims and have to factor in increased wheel bearing costs!
