Hi folks Just thought I'd give a heads up to anyone considering over nighting it the eve before Snetty The Travel lodge at both Barton Mills on the A11 ( Travelodge Barton Mills Hotel A11, Fiveways Roundabout, Barton Mills, Mildenhall IP28 6AE) and also the Travel lodge about 10miles past Snetterton on the A11 ( Cringleford Hotel Thickthorn Service Area, A11 / A47 Interchange, Norwich Southern Bypass Norwich NR9 3AU ) Both these currently have rooms available on the Sunday evening for £15 if you pre-pay the rooms when booking online I plan to stay at the Cringleford one the evening before, it's about 10miles from the circuit which will give the car just to warm up on the way.. These prices usually go up as you get closer to the date so if you are planning on stopping book in asap. Stu

Pre trackday meet Hi all, any preferences on a type of venue to eat at on Sunday? Nice pub some 10-15 mins away but i may have to check details and book. Unfortunately my chry voyager is in the garage at the mo and awaiting a replacement petrol tank so i may not be able to offer a taxi service. Still will meet all at the travelodge though. Nige!

It might be a good idea if we get some idea what time we are all planning to arrive. I am visiting friends who live just North of Norwich during the afternoon so will be at the travel lodge circa 6pm.

Its called the Red Lion, Cringleford/Earlham area. I will check out the details and can also book if we have a time in mind, which I should imagine will not be too late.

Is it likely be that busy on a Sunday eve that we need to book ? I suppose if we say we will be looking to leave the Travel lodge at 8pm to go down there and play it by ear.. Also its worth posting the full name and address of the pub and directions just in case any late comers might like to join us for a nightcap. Stu:D

leaving time for snetterton Hi guys, I use this road for early London trips midweek and generally its good. There has been a great deal of roadworks in recent months and I am not at all sure on the current progress. I would guess 45 minutes From the travelodge is a good approximation to get you to the circuit, allow you to familiarise with the surroundings and to arrive at registration. The circuit is two minutes off the A11 so no worries there. Make sure you follow the signs for the track carefully as you may find yourself in a deserted market. See you there or at the pub on Sunday. Nige!

From what Stu was saying if we leave the Travel Lodge about 20.00hrs (8) and you dial in the time to get to the pub, Perhaps book a table for then? Look forward to meeting you:D Cheers, Martin.

From what I can see from the map Nigel the pubs only a few mins away. I picked 8pm to allow everyone who's travelling in to get there but if everyones there and happy to go a little earlier we could do so which is why I've sorta left it a bit 'loose'. By all means book a table for 8pm but you better let them know it could be 15mins either way and we are not totally sure of the numbers... Are we talking a restaurant in a pub here or just a matter of bar grub where we grab a few tables ? Personally i'll be at the Travel lodge by around 5pm as I am seeing friends locally for lunch so will only be looking for a light meal in the evening. If the weather is as good as the forecast I can see some of us down there early in the beer garden anyway..:D:Dso everyone take note of the pub location:rolleyes: See you all Sunday Stu
