I know some of you are planning to come down for this on Saturday. So thought I'd keep you updated on local conditions. It is not looking as good as it was for Brands last week-end. The five day forecast for here is showing, severe weather for Wednesday night, with snow:eek: . Friday night is showing rain/sleet:( So start praying to the weather gods. Cheers, Martin.

Update Well it is reasonable news this morning, it is not as bad around here this morning as predicted. There is snow on the higher ground, but suspect that will go by tonight. Any snow falling is turning to sleet/rain, with no further snow forecast for this area.:) The five day forecast is showing a wet day for Saturday:( , but not heavy rain. So I would presume that the day is not in doubt at htis time. For anybody reading this who has never been to a track day and you are within easy reach of Goodwood, then why not come along and see what it is all about. The entry is free, correct NO charge for spectators and you can go anywhere from the pits to the grandstands. You can even get to the viewing areas above the pits, where access is normally denied at the Revival for ordinary mortals! ALthough this is not an MGoT meeting there should be some committee members helping out and Barry McCann (BRG Midget) and myself Martin Charles (Nightfire Red ZS120) driving. Any of us would, I'm sure I speak for the others as well here, be happy to tell you more about MGoT and getting your car out on track.:D Cheers, Martin.

Thanks for the update Martin. I've promised Andy Harris I'll be at Goodwood bright and early to help out. Having a local weather man is useful as I'll be travelling from Bucks where we currently have 4 to 5 inches of snow and it's still falling. My car doesn't leave the drive today! :D

Oh! Dave, don't you like rallying? Hi Dave, Ah! the beauty of living on the south coast, in the shelter of the Isle of WIght. Can't remeber the last time I saw proper snow:( which means I usually have to go looking for it up in Wiltshire to play slippy, slide four wheel drifts:D Anyway since lunchtime today I've had weather like Brands on Saturday, we are promised freezing overnight conditions but no more snow. I think Goodwood had a dusting this morning, but again no more expected. I will give a final update about 22.00 tomorrow night for you early risers:)
