Not sure if this is the best place but here goes anyway. I'd have thought that MGOT needs to pick up some support outside of the usual clubs. This is done to some extent via adverts on websites but will there be a stickers available for cars? Don't get me wrong I usually hate stickers but I think a tasteful mgs-on-track.com along the sill for example would be good. Just a thought. Neil

Neil, The subject of MGoT regalia is under on-going discussion. The need and desire to be identifiable as an MGoT subscriber has been recognised and the helmet stickers trialled at Silverstone were the first step in going public with the new MGoT logo and colour scheme. Those of you unable to attend last week may feel you missed out, but as mentioned the intention was to deliver a low cost issue of helmet logos partly to gauge "public" reaction. If successful, more will be available at future events. Hopefully other ideas will be announced soon including a subtle logo for one's car and, as you say, greater use of the website address. What else might people consider? Remember though, our aim is track days not merchandising!
Funnily enough I had a similar thought too Neil. As Bob says, we'll see how the community develops - and if there is demand, then we'll commission some! :)

Whilst we're talking about stickers, any tips how to remove those yellow A, B or C category stickers on the windscreen?? I left mine on for a couple of days after Silverstone on April 6th, and now it just chips off the windscreen in tiny little pieces! I did crack the edge of the windscreen whilst on Highlander, so perhaps it's time for an insurance claim? Tony

I guess there is a moral to that story Steve LOL! But I agree - that nasty gluey residue is a right royal pain. Petrol on a cloth ought to do the trick pretty quickly though - if you get any on the body work, just remember to give it a quick rinse and polish afterwards. :)

Dave, last couple of track days I have been meaning to ask about the mgs-on-track.com stickers along your sills. Are they available? Cheers Steve

I think that we still have some left Steve. I am sure that Dave will probably bring them along to the next meeting. Or if you ask him very very nicely, he could post 'em to you :D

Does anyone have a spare sticker for my MGB please? I'll be at the Goodwood day, so could pick it up then... or arrive wearing it :-)

I can either send you one by post (they are a bit long though and may get creased/folded) or make sure that there are some at Goodwood. :)

A white one would look great on the black front skirt.
