In collaboration with Motorsport Visions (MSV), the owners of Bedford Autodrome, we're arranging another novice only evening event. The idea, as before, is to encourage those of you that have never been out on track before to give it a go. So, I'm probably talking to over 650 of you on our mailing list! MSV are making a real effort and piling on the support for novice drivers. The evening begins with a detailed safety briefing, covering everything from track day rules, through car preparation to driving techniques. At 17:00 MSV race instructors will drive you around the circuit in minibuses explaining everything they know about the track. To ease you into track driving you'll begin with a few laps behind a pace car giving you a feel for the circuit before you tackle it on your own. From 17:30 until 20:00 the South West Bedford Autodrome circuit is all yours! Instructors will be available for personal tuition if you require. More details on the MGoT website. Did you book the right evening? 19th is experienced and 20th is beginners.

I suspect it's poor quality info rather than any problem with your booking.

I suggest that you call them on Monday and insist that they create a reserve list with you at the top :)

20/07/2006 22:55:17 IanL Wow, just got home a while ago after a fantastic afternoon/evening at Bedford. Horrendous journey there which meant arriving only 45 minutes before the open pit lane but luckily they werent fazed in the least and gave the 6 of us late arrivals a quick briefing and sighting lap and got us out on track in record time! Thanks to all the guys at Bedford, a really friendly and helpfull bunch, included in this are the Lotus on Track guys, also very nice, friendly and helpfull. I can't say how much fun I've had, what a great track that has so much run off that you can't fail to feel confident throwing yourself into the bends. More please Dave! Thanks again, Ian :) :)

20/07/2006 23:09:31 Dave Hi Ian, I'm really glad it went well. I felt very guilty not going along to 'wave the flag' for MGoT, but I couldn't afford another half-day off work.
