25/04/2006 19:12:34 Martin C Hi all, Just uploaded a couple of more pictures of the old rubber bumper B from Friday that my mate took. Just to encourage anybody with a standard car to get out there and have some fun. Sorry he didn't snap anybody else, as the rest of the time he was being scared witless in the passenger seat or trying to scare me by driving the old girl. Three things stick in my mind from the day, 1. What a great bunch of people, organisers and those who took part. We had so much fun, we are still smiling. 2. The image of the lady driving the green ZR, her smile just got bigger and bigger all day long. It summed the day up FUN, FUN, FUN. 3. My mate shot a short video on the camera of one of my slalom runs,the guy timing it, sorry don't know your name, crying out :he's going, he's going", as I got very leary. Oh! yea of little faith? I don't think the old girl disgraced herself, the times were not as slow on the slalom and short course, when judged against others I heard, as I expected. Don't know if the drivers disgraced themselves, I certanly could not get the hang of doing Andys long course any where near what I thought was acceptable.:mad: Which leaves one question, when can we come back to North Weald again, please?:confused: See you all at Brands on the 23rd May,:D Martin & Mike
