Hi Folks, I'm registered for the event tomorrow but don't know when to turn up.... If anyone catches this tonight, please can they let me know? Thanks! Tim
Tim, you should have received my email about this on April 13th! Here is the important bit: ARRIVAL TIME Please arrive around 08.45. The directions and map are on our website at http://www.mgs-on-track.com/venue/18/north_weald.htm It is very informal, unlike a track day. There will be a simple briefing by Andy Walsh of 1st Lotus who are running the day for us. LUNCH For those of you who have been before please note that the lunch arrangements are changed from previous days. We will now be going to the local pub - The Talbot. The address is 275 High Road, Tylers Green, North Weald CM16 6EE and it's a Beefeater, so on http://www.beefeater.co.uk However, we'll be using the bar menu rather than the restaurant, as the restaurant can't turn the food around quickly enough. We'll still need to have split lunches, so I plan to divide you all up into two groups and let you know which lunch break to take on the day, if that's OK. If any of you want to be on the same lunch break as someone else, then please let me know by return. For those that haven't been before, the activities don't stop for lunch - they continue all day. Hence the split lunch breaks. Whilst one half is lunching the other half can carry on playing! REFRESHMENTS AND OTHER FACILITIES Again as some of you already know, there is usually a tea/coffee van in attendance and there are portakabin style loos - nothing grand I'm afraid, but in good clean condition and we're responsible for keeping them that way! FINISH TIME As usual the day's fun has to end at 4pm precisely. The control tower guys get upset if we carry on beyond then and poor old Andy Walsh gets it in the neck!
