Ralph
I've had a number of requests for photos that I took at North Weald. I am prepared to make up CDs containing photos of individual cars and send them out. The number of photos that I took of each car varies, and it is possible that I didn't catch you on film (most of the photos were taken at the slalom and on the sprint run). I'm not a professional photographer, so not all the photos will be brilliant. The images were taken on a Canon EOS 300D and the files are around 3Mb each. I'm looking to charge somewhere around £5-10, but need to confirm the postage charge before I can come to a final figure.

Hi Ralph, I'm interested in a CD with any pictures of the MR2 and MX5 that you may have. Could you let me know please? Thanks! Rhys

Always interested in pics of my car...... Green Midget. I'll drop you a line for the next one that I do and bring a goodly assortment of lenses along - the 100-400L on a EOS300 gives an equiv of over 500mm and it's bloody fast! (f4.5)

Okay, the price is £5 per CD, including p&p. I made up a test package and got it weighed. The postage wasn't as expensive as I was expecting. If you PM me with details of the car and your address, I'll PM you the address to send the cheque to. I will then make up the CD and the send it out by return of post. Alternatively, I can bring the CD along to Donington or Silverstone (which will save you a £1 on p&p :D ). Just need to get my CD burner working again... Installing XP SP2 has killed it. Apparently, Microsoft have disabled the Sony drivers in SP2. Grrr:mad: . Why do people use Microsoft products? I have got another CD burner in a Linux box, so I can use that if I can't get this drive working again.

As I said before, if you want me to send the CD out then you need to PM me with your address and details of your car - I'll then make up the CD. Cost: £5 including p&p. If you want to collect it from me at Donington or Silverstone all you need to do is identify the car, specify where you want to pick the CD up and then find me at the event! Cost: £4 I had a quick count up of the photos last night. Here are approximate numbers of photos for each of the cars I captured: 12 TVR 350SE 11 ZR 10 Green Midget (CSF...) 12 Red Midget (JPM...) 30 Green MGB GT (500...) 7 Red MGF (...OGJ) 3 Green MGB GT (GBY...) 7 ZT (...FMZ) 25 MR2 26 MX5 11 White MGB GT (HLJ...) 39 Silver MGF (...OAG) 23 Green MGF (...GPH) 31 ZS (...CJW) 16 MGA 10 Yellow TF (...CUE) 13 Blue Midget (PWW...) 18 XPG TF (...ZXR) 17 Blue & White MGB (ADX...) 21 Red MGB GT (VDO...) 14 Morris Minor There are quite a few other photos, but most of those taken on the limit of the lens (approximately equivalent to 900mm on a 35mm camera!) were out of focus/subject to camera shake. I also have photos from some of the earlier trackdays that I can also produce, if people are interested.

Video clips There are some video clips available of the slalom run, for some reason the quality isn't quite up to par - maybe I've finally killed the camcorder, it's been with me through some thrills & spills that Canon may not have anticipated ;o) These are available: 5006F x4 GV51FMZ x1 GX54THU x2 H51KBM x7 HLJ688N x2 LCN787 x3 N111YOW x1 OZ1819 x5 PWW21M x2 R608HUD x1 RO52ZXR x1 RTP288 x3 V6OTO x1 VDO788L x2 WV04BZX x1 Best if I send a CD with the clips uncompressed, even mild compression knocks the quality down too much to be practical. I'm out of the country until next week now but email me a postal address and I'll get them burnt as soon as I can. Alternatively I'll be at Donington & Silverstone next month and can bring copies then if preferred. Thanks to everyone who took part for making it a thoroughly enjoyable day, hopefully we'll see a few of the first-timers signing up for Silverstone next month - chance to put your new skills into practice ;) ________ YAMAHA YZF1000R THUNDERACE SPECIFICATIONS

Ralph, When doing the CD for the MR2/MX5 could you see if you have any photos from Northweald for 2004 with the MR2? As I went to that one as well. Thanks! Rhys EDIT: Also, there was someone recording some of the runs on the 90 degree bend. If you're on here do you have any footage of the MR2/MX5? You did seem to be there when we were so I'm hoping so! :)

Okay, sent off the CD for Rhys today. Still haven't managed to get the burner in my Windows machine working - looks like the drive has failed after just 15 months. I had to burn this CD on my Linux box. I'll have to order a new drive on Monday for the Winows box. Richard, I'll get this burnt for you for collection at Silverstone.

Got my disc on Saturday, thanks Ralph! Some cracking photo's on it :)

Cheers, Rhys! My new CD burner arrived today, so I'll get the other CDs made up ready for collection at Donington/Silverstone. I actually bought a DVD burner (the difference in price is minimal), so I'll be able to back up the photo I take at each event onto a single disc. The photos I took at North Weald take up about 1.5Gb!
