Also let me know if you'd like me to put your name forward for free tickets via the MGCC (one day or weekend). Strictly speaking it is a one day ticket if you are working half a day and a weekend ticket if you are working a full day, but I think we can probably accommodate all committee members who need tickets. Barry - Bob - Dave - available Fri, Sat and Sun (weekend ticket required) Jennie - Neil - Rob - SteveC - SteveH - unavailable (on hols) Tim - The stand will be very similar to last year - display boards with photos (loads courtesy of Jonathan Lee & brothers), signage and video (also courtesy of the Lee brothers.) We've decided to run a prize draw for North Weald, also as last year - one place to be awarded for Sat and one for Sun. Failing anyone's ability to provide a Plasma screen, I'll bring my old PC monitor again. Neil is probably able to reserve the display boards, as last year, but can't get them to Silverstone on Friday. If Bob is able to get the RAF ones and transport them on Friday this may prove easier.

04/07/2005 21:44:50 Cannonball Bob Hmmm, Bit of a shocker I'm afraid. As mentioned elsewhere I'm now on a course at very short notice and although it's only over at Benson (a mere 45 minute drive away) it is pretty full on content with a full timetable from 8am to 5pm every day. Plenty of coffee breaks and the like but it means I won't have much opportunity for "other" jobs over the next month I'm afraid, simply because I'm not at my usual place of work and am having my working day dictated much more closely than usual. I certainly won't be able to make it for the Friday either and already have commitments for the Saturday. I'm sorry to have to say it but Silverstone is looking unlikely overall for me this year and I can only apologise. The course was all a bit short notice and only comes round once a year so I had to be seen to be jumping at the chance :(

13/07/2005 07:26:28 Neil I'm not sure if we'll be able to attend both Saturday and Sunday currently although that was our original plan. If we do attend both days then we don't mind a couple of hours each day on the stand.

I've emailed Neil to see if I can pick up the display boards and any other artwork he has from him. That should mean that I have most things for the stand.
