# The car and reason I'm selling ...

I had intended to keep my car, but the driveway at my new house isn't wide enough, so forcing sale. I have spent a lot of money on upgrading the car for use as a daily drive, plus track days. I have a folder of receipts for work done under my care. I've spent in excess of £12k in the last 10k miles. Although I will not enjoy the value from that, but the new owner certainly will!  The car is a 2002 TF 160 VVC in British Racing Green with cream & black interior.

It's fantastic on track, benefiting from brake upgrades keeping the car very controlled under braking with great pedal feel. The 4-2-1 exhaust and engine map have further improved the already torquey VVC - and that was before the engine work (see below). It keeps its own with the more standard Lotus Elises if you're enjoying a track day including them (it will out accelerate the lower powered Elise variants).

# The 'project for sale' bit ...

The head and one of the pistons are currently off the engine. The head is having some work done by the renowned Sabreheads. I'm open to selling the car with different scenarios depending on what the buyer is looking for. If you'd like to buy it as is and finish the work yourself, that's great. If you need the car putting back together etc., it's currently with my local garage who have done work on my other cars and I can confirm do a top job. I could sell it with or without the extensively worked head, depending on what the buyer is interested in doing with the car.

As you'll see below, so much of the engine and running gear has been replaced and / or upgraded, there's a lot right with the car.  In terms of 'bad bits', there is a bit of lacquer peeling on the front wings and the badges are faded. The car was dry stored for a good while, but has been on a garage forecourt for a few months now.

I need to move the car from the local garage by the weekend, or book it in for work to be done, so please do call or message me ASAP if you're interested.  You could have a new project for the long weekend!
