I was quite pleased as its pretty much standard, being a late rubber bumper model i expected the handling to be an issue but the body roll wasn't as bad as i expected, engine seemed sweet as oil pressure and temperature was fine. Plans for the next one are to lower it down to chrome bumper height:cool: to get rid of some of the body roll. And change the front pads as they squeal when hot! are those green stuff pads any good? But overall i was pleased that i didn't break anything and was able to drive home and use it for work the next day..

mine was the white Midget. as you could probably tell, I was more than pleased with mine. Mine is a very simple engine, which is easily fixed if I break it. I built it with fun in mind, and I like to use it to it's full. As you could probably tell.

Was it good? I'd love to be able to do that." My MGF drove like a dream, I was very impressed :D The one part of the track that I always seemed to get wrong was the run from Starkys Bridge to McCleans, quite what was the best gear to be in I don't know, 'cause I never seemed to find it

Pads / Handling I've got an older set of green stuff pads fitted to mine and they squeal like mad when hot.The newer ones have a revised compound which reduces it. I've got 3/4 inch roll bar on the front, uprated lever arms on the front, spax on the back, and reduced the height down about an inch. (got the bits from the BHive, they are pretty helpful, Nigel is very competitive racing his V8) Nick (Damask MGB)

My Rover seemed pretty happy around the track. It's completely standard, but I don't have any complaints with any aspect of its performance on Thursday. My tyres don't seem to have worn unevenly, despite probably spending at least 10 minutes squealing quietly... The approach to McLeans was the most challenging part of the circuit for me. I was typically grabbing fourth (at 70-80 mph) somewhere between Starkeys bridge and Schwantz curve.
