Hi Daniel, welcome to MGs on Track, I see you are booked onto our final TD of the year, Brands Hatch Indy and the infomaous Paddock Hill bend. I'm sure you will have a great day there with plenty of track day experience around you to tap into and help if you have any car issues not that is likely with an MG ;) I'm not attending this one but look forward to meeting you at another of our TD's in 2022 Safe driving Mark

Hi Daniel, I am the Event Manager for the day so welcome and let me know if you have any questions. I see you have booked instruction which is good, a 20 min session to show you the lines and braking points will make the rest of the day much more enjoyable. See you there! Cheers Dave

Cheers Dave
Hi Dave. Just waiting to see if my own second driver can make it. If so she is a full ARDS instructor and should keep me well in bounds. If not will take your instructor for 20 minutes. If she can then the second driver in my car will be of a significant difference in driver skill. Looking forward to it either way.

Attached below is the event guide plus appendices for our Track Day at Brands Hatch Indy circuit on Monday 6th December. These documents contain all you need to know about the organisation of the day before you arrive. Note that the sign-on procedure at the circuit has been temporarily changed due to covid restrictions. SIGNING ON You will need to present your licence to a member of MSV staff at Brands who will check the details against the briefing (see below) and registration database and issue your wristband for the day. A member of the MGoT committee will also be present. Sign-on location will be next to the snack bar in the paddock, on your right as you drive in. GARAGES We have garages 13 to 32 allocated to MGoT, each garage can take 2 cars. FILL INDEMNITY FORMS You, second drivers and passengers will need to complete the attached MGs on Track Indemnity form (appendix a) and send this back to me via email, no later than 5pm Friday 3 December. Please send this back by replying to this email address. I also need to see a copy of your driving licence and that of any second drivers . If you are not willing to send a copy of your licence by email, then please go to https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence and send me the check code that the website generates plus the last 8 digits of your driver number. MSV will also need to physically see your licence on the day so please don’t forget to bring this with you. You need to complete the MSV Brands online registration via this link: https://brands-v1.msv.com/CheckIn/83e3f481-df56-4f81-a3c5-e4799d61aa71 And also complete the online briefing which is linked from the above page. The online briefing is ONLY available from 8am the day before the event (Sunday 5th December). You must have an MGoT and MSV indemnity completed for every driver and passenger. All cars must be road legal and conform to current MOT standards where relevant, unless you have agreed otherwise with the MGoT committee in advance. SESSION LIST There are two MGoT sessions and the third session that is run by MSVT. MGoT sessions are on track at 09:20 and 09:40 and MSVT are on track at 09:00 and on each subsequent hour. All session times are detailed on the attached list and this includes any instruction booked or helmets rented. Please be aware of your session and start time, it is the drivers responsibility to be in the pit lane in time for the start of their session. NOISE TESTING MSV have re-introduced static noise testing at Brands Hatch which should be carried out before sighting laps. Please check at sign on where you will be directed to the noise test area outside garages 33/34 at the far end of the paddock. CORONAVIRUS PRECAUTIONS These are still difficult times for us and the circuits so please could we ask that you follow any guidance displayed and sent out by the circuit. ANY QUESTIONS? Please feel free to email me or call me with any questions before the day. E-mail d.pearce@nemco.co.uk, mobile 07976 796213 I hope you all have a great day. Dave Pearce Event Manager
