I'm sure we have all seen the madness that's going on this weekend and with this event fast approaching does this circuit sell fuel onsite and if so do they have plenty available? Like many I have to drive some distance to get there and if the mass hysteria continues into next weekend I may have to make tough decision on if i risk it.

Hi Kevin, Donington do have a filling station on-site. I will contact them tomorrow and ask about supply and post here with their answer. As you say, many of us have quite a distance to travel, and I had trouble getting super unleaded earlier this week before the mass madness started.

The ridiculous fuel situation is a problem for me from the start,I don't like leaving my car in the garage with to much fuel in it .My problem now is I don't have enough fuel to travel to far to find some some, hopefully some improvement by the weekend

Just heard back from Donington. Currently they have no supply issues and a good stock. Obviously they pointed out that this could change between now and next Monday (4th) but gave me a number to call for updates. I will call them later this week and post any updates here.

Thanks Nigel, I share John's predicament as probably I guess you do too. Assuming we all get to Donny we really all need to fuel up enough to get home again after consuming this valuable commodity! Am I being very optimistic in thinking Motorway Service Stations might receive priority so people don't run out actually on a Motorway in which case that M1 Kegworth BP (?) is quite nearby....

Hopefully by the weekend this may have all calmed down a bit. Fingers crossed and hope that one of the stations on the way might have fuel as I will possibly make it on what I have but no guarantees!

I just can't risk searching for fuel, and a 40 car plus queue is not for me,so I have regrettably cancelled my track day ,I hope someone on the reserve list enjoys the day, still on the up side a quick tax boost for the government, and I think quite a few electric vehicles will be sold this weekend!!!!!!!!

Well I managed to fill my van up at 04.30 in the morning at local Tesco's, will try the same tomorrow with the ZS and if there's still fuel at circuit I'm good to go

I managed to fill my TF this morning as well. Latest from Donington this morning is that they are expecting a fuel delivery today and asked me to phone again on Sunday to confirm exact amounts available, but as of today there is good supply at the circuit.

Dave Woodhall has said both circuits(MSV owned) are providing fuel for track cars but in limited amounts. Maybe Donington will do similar?? " Fuel information for Monday & Tuesday with Opentrack at Bedford and Snetterton. Eash circuit has fuel. Snetterton: Each driver ( main driver only not extra drivers ) will be given a wrist band to obtain 20Ltrs of fuel from the circuit. If a main driver feels he has enough fuel for the day he may pass that wrist band to another driver to use his allocation of fuel as well." "Bedford Autodrome: Each driver will be limited to 20 ltrs of fuel at each fill up, In line with other locations this is for track car use and not Jerry cans or road cars."

There are 4 gas stations near Donington Track. One in the airport. One at Moto Donington Services. One in Castle Donington Village/town. One on the Road in to Kegworth. Go to Google Maps . Put the track location in then look for the gas station logo on the lhs menu box to see the locations. HTH

Afternoon all. Have just spoken to Donington circuit and they confirmed that there is no fuel shortage at the circuit and no restrictions on amounts for purchase as of this afternoon and they don't foresee any problems between now and Monday.

Thanks for all the info, guys. I have a full tank of diesel for the Disco to tow there, but will need some for the homeward tow - thanks, Peter, for the info on the stations around the circuit. The TF has enough fuel for the actual day.
