Hi all, I have a great interest in Track Days and have just found this through Total MG. My 18th birthday is on the 7th of May and this event sounds like a great idea. The problem is that I drive a Rover. It's a 1.4 MPI 16v but I have done a few modifications to make it a bit more drivable and basically to look nicer. This includes: ZR160 Brakes, Koni Yellow Top Suspension, MGZR Anti Roll Bars, Strut Braces Alloys, the usual engine mlarky and allot of exterior styling. I do drive enthusiastically but not beyond the cars limits. I have never done a track day before but have friends who drive Midget's at a few of your events. And no I don’t read max power or fast car. I read, total MG, PPC & Kit Car magazine! Would I be acceptable for this event? Obviously I would remove the sound system etc.... Thanks Ian

Hi Ian You are very welcome, in fact if you view our welcome page at http://www.mgs-on-track.com/index.php?pg=109 you will see that we exist for all MGR enthusiasts. Regarding the Beginners Evening, you may be too late but try getting your cheque off to Tim quickly, you never know. If you're unlucky why not join us at Cadwell on 13th June, we usually organise the sessions to make sure that the groups reflect the experience of the driver and the performance of the car, so you would most likely be in a group with similar experience to yourself. See you on track soon!

Hi Ian, Welcome to MGs on Track. As Steve's explained we've got a number of Rover owners on our mailing list. Talking of which, why don't you sign up for the newsletter at http://www.mgs-on-track.com/index.php?pg=115 This form will come to me and I will pop you on our newsletter mailing list. That way you'll get to hear about all future events as they happen. The Beginner's Evening is already looking over-subscribed, but if you are interested then let me know immediately (email me at dave@mgs-on-track.com) Regards, Dave
