Hi
I'll be starting the 'Night before... ' thread hopefully later this week work permitting. Current focus is on tomorrow's Blyton track day. Last year's information can be found

Dear Colin,
A few of us will be at the Nant-yr-Odyn as detailed for last year, but I don't know if they have any space left. We tend to stay on both the Sunday and Monday nights, and on previous years have made the drive back on Tuesday part of the experience with a drive past Snowdon and a stop for a chocolate feast, but I suspect that this year could be different. Also may not be advisable if you plan to bring a trailer.
Rest assured that Anglesey is well worth the journey.
All the best,
Duncan.

Like you Anglesey will be a new experience for and Im already sure it will be worth it. Looks like a double challenge as there are 2 layouts being used!.
I tend to do budget option accomodation so Im in the Travelodge at the A55/A5 intersection. Bangor.

Hi Colin,
There are garages at Anglesey and plenty of space for everyone. Great fun on the two different circuits, personally I much prefer the Coastal configuration, but each to their own!
I couldn't get into Nant-yr-Odyn so am staying at the California Hotel / pub a few miles further away from the circuit

Hi Nigel, that's strange about the hotel as we just called them and they are taking provisional bookings until the situation is resolved, I guess we will see if not its the California or a tent for me

The Anglesey Agricultural show was due to run on 11th and 12th August but has now been cancelled. I guess that people had booked early for that which it is why it was fully booked back in February but has vacancies now.

I have contacted Nant Yr Odyn hotel and she said they had been told to prepare for opening on 3 August. So not 100% but she seemed pretty sure it would hapen, and they are planning to provide food as well as accomodation. Watch this space!

Oh that's good news. I am booked on a free cancellation / nothing paid basis at the moment so will see if I can get in at Nant Yr Odyn instead.

We are making a weekend of it, and we will do some walking on the Sunday - so are booked into the Valley from the Saturday evening to Tuesday morning. It has a a good sized car park, and have advised them we have a trailer - they were absolutely fine with that. Also happy with our two dogs! See you all on the Monday, bright and early!
