07/10/2019 18:28:03 Stu Hi Folks What a great day even if the weather made the driving conditions challenging So good to catch up with old friends:) Sad to see Johns incident in the first session after lunch, the circuit conditions changed quickly over two laps making it very greasy. Hopefully the damage isn't too bad at we'll see you out in the 2020 season. My car behaved and i was reasonably happy that i hadn't 'lost it' after a four year break. A huge thanks to everyone who helped get my F started for each session (faulty starter motor) - especially Steve who had to help me reach the circuit and get petrol after the day! I drove back yesterday to Pembrokeshire (without stopping of course) after enlisting a couple of very helpful chaps (at the side of the road near my Mom's house) who got the car started. Incredible amounts of rain around Cardiff, but somehow the track day tyres managed to cope with the deluged M4.
