What's happened on the website? It's showing 10 spaces available and on the event page it's showing multiple bookings with ERROR marked against them.

Dave, we took 8 places back from the TRR as they had only sold 4, and these were added to the website, selling pretty quickly. The website seems to go pear shaped when we add extra spaces to an event, we have seen this before. It is not a problem with registration details as a number of them are regulars. It also looks like Nigel has added some more from the CSMA as again they had a lot of unsold places. Those will not be our liability as we will only refund if they sell.

Ah, good. I'm glad it's nothing serious. It seems that the TR places really haven't worked out for them this year. Do you think they'll scrap the arrangement? Shame also about the CMSA - we really need these partners. BTW - I've test run the data logger on the Emerald software. It's set to record once the revs exceed 3000 and stop recording once the revs drop below 300. It seems quite happy to record both before and after the engine is turned off without losing data. I think I can secure the laptop reasonably well behind the passenger seat. The only problem is the battery on the laptop isn't that great and will probably only last half an hour or so. Also, if the weather is damp/wet I may not get the G forces that were definitely in play at Anglesey and the cutting out problem may not happen. There's no hint of any problem in normal driving. All the inputs you mentioned are being logged except the crank sensor which isn't on the list and the fuel pressure, as I didn't really want to start plumbing in more gauges at this stage. I had enough bother last time with the oil pressure gauge!

It is a shame you can't get to the crank sensor, might be worth giving Karl a call and see if there is anything else that confirms the signal is still coming in. I have seen various reports of sensors going intermittent.

OK Dave, I'll see if I can find anything out. Thanks.
OK Dave, I'll see if I can find anything out. Thanks.
Dave Walker says that monitoring the RPM can show a faulty crank sensor as the revs will drop to zero on the logger if the sensor drops out momentarily. However, he says it can be over a very small time interval so hard to spot.
