Well maybe not quite 'alive' but it moves so that's a start! Hi guys, pushed the F out of the garage after it's 3.5 year layover. All seems remarkably good from the outside considering its circa 360k mileage It hasn't be started in all that time so it's going away for a full check over in June so hopefully back up and running by some time in July or early august I am hopeful that I may get a day out on circuit this season ! Be great to catch up Stu

Wayhay! great news Stu, will be good to see you. How about a trip to Anglesey with us - fabulous circuit and (of course) company ;)

Hey Stu - great to hear from you :) I had no idea that the F had been in storage for so long. Have you finished the house now? It would be great to see you back out on track again. I'm missing out on planned outings at the moment as my F is awaiting the attention of my mechanic. He's been unable to do anything now since the car broke down on me at Bedford :( I had hoped to get to Cadwell and Snetterton and was going to look you up on the trip to the latter. Maybe we can catch up later in the year somewhere. Best wishes, Dave

Hi Stu, Great to hear that you are planning to hit the tracks again and it will be fantastic to see you both again - that's you and Pat not you and the car!! I do agree with Nigel that Anglesey is really worth considering as it's a really superb circuit - but maybe you have driven it? Good luck bringing your "F" back to life and hope to see you soon. All the best, Martin

Hi Guys, as I said the cars hopefully being checked over and brought back to life around mid June, I am hopeful by mid July it will be on the road. I then need to drive it a bit to remind myself of how it handles on the road let alone on track :-) but Anglesey would be fun. I I have not driven it for a long time, the last time Jenny had her lotus there! I think it was before the track was modified. Will keep you posted Cheers Stu

The to-do list seems to never shorten! Your are most welcome to come over anytime to the wilds of norfolk, i think we should make it a plan to try to meet up at some point this year, either here, there or somewhere in between Maybe Aug/Sept/Oct time? Are you around over this bankhols ? will chat with Pat and perhaps we could do a skype video call Cheers bud Stu

Either that or there are some settings somewhere I need to adjust! Anyway, you still seem rather busy - what a to do list! Yes, we really must put a plan together. A chat on skype or facebook sounds a good idea. We're following our usual routine despite the bank hols, which means, Sunday we may go for a walk as the weather is sunny at present; out on Monday morning but in during the afternoon. Generally, late afternoon we're usually around the house. Once you've talked to Pat, drop me an email or text to suggest a time that works for you. Cheers, Dave

Hey Stu Great to hear from you, really guilty of not catching up will give you a call:) Glad the car seems to be okay after it retirement break. Maybe this will give Tim the incentive to sort our Car out it has been off the road over a year now.:D Dave - it is not you on the notifications I don't know why but there seems to be no way of getting notifications like the old VBulletin I find it very hard to use:(

Hi Dave, All, You need to set up the preferences you have for notifications in your account area here: https://mgs-on-track.com/pitlane/index.php?account/preferences. then you will get notifications coming through as you desire.

Hey Nigel I did that before and I ticked every box that I could find just to be on the safe side but I never get any emails - I am obviously doing something wrong:( Dave let me know if you do any better :)

Hi All, After a bit of investigation, I have found that to get automatic notifications on any new post, you need to add each "forum" needs to be added to your watched forum list. At the top of this thread, for example you should see a clickable link on the right hand side which says "unwatch this thread". in a similar place for all the other forum threads, you will see "Watch Forum". If you click on that, you can set how you receive notification (alert or email). Hope this helps!

Odd - I received a notification for Fran's first post, but not her second!?! Anyway, I've gone and ticked all the boxes as Nigel suggested and so will keep track of what happens.
