Is anyone staying nearby the night before and if so, where, then we could meet for dinner or a drink in the evening. I can't see a Premier Inn nearby but there is a new/upgraded Travelodge in Gainsborough, about 6 miles South. Cheap too! Cheers, Richard

Dear Richard, I'm booked at The White Swan, Scotter, which is four or five mile north of Blyton. It has a restaurant and bar, but certainly does not begin to compete on price for accommodation with the Travelodge for that Sunday evening. All the best, Duncan.

Hi Duncan, Thanks for your reply. As I'm an early retirer, ie not drawing a pension yet, I've gone for the (very cheap) option of the new Travelodge at Gainsborough, which I would almost drive past on the way up. Look forward to seeing you there. Best wishes, Richard.

As my car is now MOTd taxed and insured in the past few days I have booked in to this new Travelodge too. Thanks for the heads up on this. Last time I went to Blyton it didnt exist. All I have to do now is learn how to drive the car!! My first track outing in the car.

Hi Peter, welcome to your first outing in the car. Plenty of room at Blyton to find it's handling characteristics and only 6 cars on track at the same time so a nice relaxed day!

Hi Peter, Keep an eye out for me at the Travelodge, I'll be there with my son, he's 6' 6" so you shouldn't miss us, I'm the ugly one with glasses! Maybe meet up for dinner and a beer. Cheers, Richard

Im an "intermediate" level track driver so Im familiar with the "rules" and the "etiquette" I have driven Blyton once before in my 300ZX last year, so I know about the unusual anti clockwise format. After several events in the Nissan Im looking forward to FWD again in my life!
