I had the sports cat on for Goodwood earlier in the year and passed their static noise test at 98db (only just) but got warned a few times during the day for exceeding noise limits. I see that Brands Hatch static limit is 105db which should be OK but their driveby limit is only 92db.

30/11/2018 17:41:44 Steve Hill Hi Ian Most of the circuits are under significant pressure to reduce noise, usually instigated by local home owners but implemented by local authorities. Regarding your sports cat; the drive by limit at Goodwood is 96dB measured 10m from the track. The drive by at BH is 92dB measured at 20m from the track. You were around 96dB at Goodwood, that will be a bit lower at BH due to the greater distance. MSV are duty bound to stick to their limits. If you exceed the drive by they will pull you in. Your standard cat will of course be fine. You will really enjoy Brands Hatch, it's a lot of fun!
