Nice to catch up with so many old friends today and to make a few new ones on what can only be described as a truly wonderful Glorious Autumn Goodwood day. Bit rusty at snapping as it is some time since I've done any, but I've put an album up of a few I took today. Until next time take care all ;)

Well done you managed to catch me three times in the 4 laps I managed before the alternator fell off! I managed to temporarily fix it thanks to other members generously donating bits and made it home using less than 3k revs as the belt kept falling off above that. The belt fell off again as I approached my house and let the revs go up to 4K. Thanks to all for their help and sympathy. I have now found the mounting bracket and alternator mounting holes have fretted into a large oval explaining the misalignment. Part of the joy of owning a 22 year old motor.

I heard the car fire up after lunch and being given some beans in the paddock and didn't think too much about it. Hope the cure is not to painful and you will be able to join us again soon.

All fixed I hope. Had to machine out and sleeve the mounting bracket and the alternator lug. Belt now seems to run true at all revs, need a good test drive to make sure.
