Hi All, John Dignan sent out the various forms by e-mail this week but I understand from him that some of you are having issues with the attachments being removed. Attached to this post are all of the attachments. Please download & complete the indemnity form before arriving at the circuit. Johns e-mail read as follows: Hi Everyone, Please print the attached Event Guide plus Appendices A, B and C and the Instruction Schedule for the MGs on Track day at Castle Combe on Monday 12th September 2016. The documents tell you all that you need to know to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable day. Please do take the time to read it through carefully, even if you have been with us to Castle Combe before, as things may have changed. Please note that the afternoon will be open pit lane, as was the case for the very successful September Castle Combe track day last year. Every driver and passenger must fully complete an indemnity form (see Appendix A). Print as many as you need, fill them in, and bring them along on the day. This will significantly speed up the sign on process. Castle Combe are strict about noise level (100 db), if you are in any doubt about this please take steps before the day to reduce your noise output and so avoid any difficulties at the circuit. You must pass the noise test before you will be allowed out onto the track. The attached Session List (Appendix C) shows the group you will be in and the times you will be on track. Second drivers, passengers and extras such as instruction and helmet hire are also covered, so please check that that these are correct and let me know if there are any discrepancies. Breaking News MG Triple Eight Racing driver Josh Cook has kindly offered his services as an instructor for the morning only at our Castle Combe track day this Monday. You will be aware that Josh has been very successful this season in his MG6 in the British Touring Car Championship and has twice secured BTCC podium places. I have spare instruction slots available in all groups, plus 4 slots for sighting laps (these include laps for the balance of the 15 minutes). If you would like to meet Josh and receive some valuable instruction please e-mail me at JohnD@mgs-on-track.co.uk. I will allocate a slot for you on a first come first served basis. You can pay the standard £15 instruction fee at signing on (cash only, in exact money please). A session with Josh at your side could make a big difference to your driving skills and great news on your social media. Alan Wilshire also has some spare instruction slots available. Remember your current in-date driving licence (or you wont be able to go on track). Signing-on in the Tavern Café from 07.30, then noise testing from 08.00, then briefing at 08.30 sharp. See you all on Monday. Kind regards, John
