Hi, sorry new here so apologies if this is a sill question. Just looking at the Brands GP day next year and it says 1 session, does this mean 1 20 minute session or is it an open pitlane session lasting a couple hours etc?

Hi Gavin and welcome to MGs on Track. Your question is a good one. The Brands GP day will be a 3 session day operated by our friends at Lotus on Track. We will have our own dedicated session. The day will run with 3 x 20min sessions each hour, 2 for LoT and 1 for MGoT. Each driver should have at least 2 hours of track time on the day.

Thanks Steve, any idea on rough pricing? Have always wanted to do the GP circuit :)
Thanks Steve, any idea on rough pricing? Have always wanted to do the GP circuit :)
We don't have costs yet but it is not a normal circuit and the cost is higher than our normal cost. Also we are not able to offer it to beginners. Drivers must have track day experience.

I almost did the MSV day this year so as long as it's under £400 that should be fine, RA track days now want £700 for a GP day, trying to price us normal people out :(

Hi Gav, As an indication, if you look at the Lotus on Track website, you will see that BH GP is selling at £299 for the first 20 cars. Now our price is likely to be slightly different as we charge a much lower price for Instruction & helmet hire and we dont know exactly how much LoT will set the final price at. For comparison, it was £325 for the day this year, so both of those prices i have mentioned will be below your £400 limit and I think we expect prices in 2016 to be similar to 2015, but with an uplift to account for the extra costs that the circuits will charge as a result of inflation.

Thanks Nigel, that seems reasonable, definitely better than £700! Do MGOT ever run open pit format?
