Great day. I didn't hit a cone though will admit to a pirouette at the bottom hairpin in the wet early sessions. apologies to the MGB behind! My first track day with the Purple horror since a complete engine and suspension rebuild. Remarkably nothing fell off though the brakes did get a bit cooked, need to look at an upgrade there. Thanks to the organisers.

Ditto, a great day and thanks to the organizers who make these days possible.
Wouldn't mind another shot round there, though I think open pit lane would work better and remove all the cones so we don't have stoppages!!
As Steve said, hope Tim, Fran and Colin got home o/k.
Cheers

Yes thank you everyone we got home okay. Just more p**** off that having got stuck in traffic most of the way and car parked on the M25 on Friday, our journey took us 8 hours instead of 4 to get there. Just before we arrived in Hethel we came to some roadworks pitch black in the pouring rain that had a massive pot hole on the good side to drive on!! When we returned back through the same roadworks after getting something to eat a policeman was out in the pouring rain flagged us down to tell us to mind the pot hole!!! We realised next day after first session that our back tyre was going down rapidly that we had a problem. Went off to the local tyre repair place to find we had a badly bent rim which they managed to straighten it enough to seal the tyre to get us home. Real shame it looked a nice circuit for the little time we spent on it.
Just need to get hold of a new Trophy Rim now!!!

Getting Home
Hi, yes it was a great day at Hethel shame about the weather on Friday and Sat morning but well worth the trip. I finally got home at 10.30 after two relays by the AA. First man that arrived was not interested as he was just finishing his shift and argued that I wouldn't be recovered from a track until I shower him a copy of the terms and conditions that shut him up ha ha, next two drivers were the opposite and couldn't have been more helpful. As this is the third time they have taken me home I think its time for a trailer, it has been suggested that as I am becoming a regular I will get an invite to there Christmas dinner dance.
See you at Brands GP
