Dave
The weather forecast for our day at Pembrey on Monday 13th July was dire and we did have a pretty wet morning. However, the rain eased over lunch and a strong warm wind dried up the track so that our last three sessions were dry. Certainly my last session was at full pelt! Even in the wet you could tell the circuit was a fun sequence of bends. Once it was dry it proved to be a lovely flowing drive - well worth the trip for those that travelled long distances. Well done to everyone who came and drove so magnificently - not a single stoppage in the entire day and I didn't even hear of anyone spinning. The track certainly helped, as the grip was excellent, but it's also a testament to MGoT member's driving. Track etiquette was also of a high standard. A great day :D Many thanks to Nigel and Doug (MGoT event managers) who battled valiantly with the unknowns and idiosyncrasies of a brand new circuit.

Hethel the weekend after next, i'll try to arrange a sunny norfolk w/e Cheers all Stu

Indeed, Thanks Doug and Nigel for a good day. Have to admit to being pensive and undecided first & second sessions but an instruction session helped me join up the corners to what Dave has described as a very flowing circuit. The dryer afternoon sessions were great - you missed a treat Stu ;)

An interesting and technical circuit which was much more fun in the dry... really allowing you to clip the apex (cones!) ;)

Betty Boop Hi all. Neil here in the red 'B' reg Midget with Betty Boo on the wings. I agree totally with all the above comments. It was a great day. Yes it was wet in the morning but living in Wales I was used to that Really good grip in the wet. Thanks for a great day MGOT. Neil

Just to re-echo what has been said above – despite the foul weather in the morning I was surprised just how much grip was available and how much fun I had in the rain! So pleased I (we) made the trip and as Stu said, it was great to catch up with old friends and Founders not seen in a while. Thanks also to the MGoT Day Managers for all their work on the day.

Hi Nigel, I saw in a Facebook post that you are now the proud owner of a 'K Series' badge. When is the rest of the car coming to join it ;)
