09/06/2015 20:07:20 Martin C Well done Doug Bond, Fran Guy and James Mumford for an excellent day and very smooth sign-on and briefing, seeing MGoT's legendary efficiency from the other side the desk was impressive. Two years since I was last on track, Croft 2013, and boy was I rusty and still need plenty of buffing up. Thanks to all those who offered help and tools to get my front pads changed, again the legendary MGoT camaraderie. Before anybody asks, yes there was plenty of meat on the pads before I started yesterday. The wear sensor came on at the end of the second session, all four front pads were on the metal before the end of the fourth. :eek: Just goes to show you have no idea what previous owners have done when you have no history other than a stamped up service book when you buy a car. Cheap motor factor pads I suspect, given that a new set of pads from Camberley Auto Factors in Chippenham was £23 I think we know how long they would last as well, but they got me home safely. New disc's and Mintex M1144 pads all round ordered. Until next time - Thanks all :D

16/06/2015 17:59:57 Wildcat Unfortunately my ZS engine ate the big one !!!!! Almost got me home within 5 miles until it finally siezed. Restarted after it cooled down but did sound like the man with the sledge hammer was demolishing a scaffold tower. Anyway guys, just like to say what a great bunch you all are and I have had a blast. Now if anyone knows where there is a cheap 180 ZS or 160 ZR then send them in my direction. Got the garage space now. Hope to see you all real soon. Mark S
