Dave
I took my first visit to Llandow on Wednesday 13th May. Not an MGoT day, but a charity day organised by Christopher Darwin that raised £3050 - well done Chris. :) Llandow is an interesting 1.5 miles. The circuit map looks fairly boring, but it's far from that. A very tight twisty section at the end of the pit lane straight takes some getting used to, as does a long sweeping bend after a chicane at the end of the back straight, where you can carry a scary amount of speed into the next right hander. It was a hot sunny day (yes they do happen in Wales) and there was good company to boot - Neil Thomas and Anthony Cutler with their K-series Midgets - see photo. I'm now looking forward to seeing loads of you make the trip to MGoT's day at Pembrey on 13th July. Another great little circuit packed with fun. Make a weekend of it and come on down to Pembrokeshire - we're having a BBQ on the Saturday night and hopefully an outing on the Sunday. Llandow I concur with Dave's description of this track day at Llandow. It's a track that I am quite familiar with now and is deceptively technical. It was lots of fun and it was great to see Dave there. As for Pembrey, Ant, Tim and myself will be there and hopefully some other K Midget guys too. Hopefully see you there.

I raced there back in the early 90s, a great track and claims cars from what I remember, blew my engine chasing a podium! I remember a certain Gerry Marshall giving his Thames TV sponsored Firenza (old nail) its first outing at that very track.
