I've gathered the addresses of the regional secretaries for the MGOC from the club's 'Enjoying MG' magazine. My though was to mail them an explanation of MGoT and ask them to pass it on to all the groups in their region. Seems an obvious enough tactic. Amy thoughts?

It seems that we were the subject of a discussion between the MGCC and the MGOC recently :) Rob Gammage will set up an introduction for us with Julie Neville - event co-ordinator at the MGOC. She handles all their race events and is keen to talk to us about track days! Julie will be at Stoneligh on 20th Feb and so Rob will introduce us there.

Rob Gammage, true to his word, introduced me. It was a brief discussion, but they are supportive and will run our calendar in the Enjoying MG magazine. I've sent this and our 200 words to them by email, so we'll just have to hope that they remember to do this in an edition soon. With that introduction and their verbal support we just need to find ways of keeping them involved and perhaps feeding the magazine editor with the odd article. Anyone got any ideas, besides putting them on our newsletter mailing list?

Get someone from the MGOC onto the MGoT committee. I know that you have joint membership Dave, but perhaps we do need an 'insider' to fight for our cause within the MGOC.

That's still a possibility if we can get him along to one of our events. Anyone know anyone else who is very active in MGOC circles?
