Hi All There have been some questions about clause 12 on the MSV indemnity form which is common to all their circuits: Brands, Snetterton, Cadwell, Oulton and Bedford.
12. Any material filmed or recorded by me at the Venue is for personal use only and is not for broadcast (whether for commercial reasons or otherwise) on any public transmission media anywhere in the world (including on the internet, e.g. on YouTube).
I have emailed Nick Rice of MSV as follows.
Hi Nick We are struggling to understand the implications of clause 12 on the MSV (06) registration form. Some are construing it to mean that we can’t post stills taken during the day in our MGoT forum gallery, others are concerned about uploading in car videos to YouTube. Probably worth mentioning that images in our MGoT gallery are moderated (by committee members) before display and any doubtful ones (incidents etc) removed. Could you please advise the MSV position.

Hi Tim, It is in there to deter people showing MSV circuits in a bad light. You will be fine to post moderated pics and videos as you always have.
The reply is clear regarding posting videos and stills on this website whether in our gallery or in a forum post but you need to self moderate if uploading to YouTube etc. I suggest that any photos or footage of incidents is avoided. Make sure that any other photos which might show MSV facilities in a bad light are posted elsewhere by someone who hasn't signed the indemnity. Their use for commercial purposes remains prohibited. In this case MSV should be contacted before publication. Tim
