If anyone is at a loss for something to do on Saturday or Sunday, why not pop along to Brands Hatch and take in a day's club racing organised by our parent club? You will also get the opportunity of having a giggle at me getting it all wrong in the Trophy race - car 42! :o

Well done Paul :) Bit too far for me (and anyway I'm still rebuilding the suspension) but have good luck and fun.

Cracking stuff Paul, just remember you don't have to wait for a straight to overtake  :D. If I wasn't at Thruxton cheering on Jason, Tom and Mark Hynes, I'd have come along, good speed and look forward to hearing how you got on.

You missed a cracking race today. I managed a class win and fastest lap so looking good for tomorrow. The leaders had a marvellous tussle and I managed to keep out of their way - only lapped once. Looking forward to the race tomorrow!

Sorry everyone. Been distracted. Susan tried to demolish the hotel bathroom with her nose on Sunday morning before breakfast. Subsequently had to withdraw from the afternoon's race while I did a tour of Darent Valley and Frimley Park hospitals. She has an open fracture of her nose, which might require surgery in due course to stabilise it. Now languishing at home with a nose splint until she goes back to the ENT clinic on Friday. She is not having a good time of it at the moment. Now languishing 14th in the Championship, 12 points adrift of the class leader. Got some catching up to do so might have to travel to Knockhill!

Blimey Paul, nothing to apologize for mate, al least things are sort of OK, i.e. not life threatening. Hope Susan makes a speedy recovery and doesn't require surgery, I'm sure I speak for all who know you both, in wishing her well and hope things start to look up soon for you both.

Sorry to hear about Susan . Bathroom wall ?? - sounds very suspicious to me ;) Are you going to be OK for Snet next Monday. Think there might still be a couple of reserves on the list if you need.

Hi Paul, Likewise - very sorry to hear about Susan. What rotten luck for her and sad to have missed you but entirely understandable. I did mean also to congratulate you on an excellent result on Saturday. How nice to have an actual committee member racing and succeeding and I must say watching the race you had to scratch from there was no quarter given and the racing was fierce including a ZR well buried in the kitty litter at the foot of Paddock Hill Bend! Forgotten who it was before you ask but he managed it all own his own! I hope Susan is not in too much discomfort and it heals quickly. All the best, Martin (H)
