21/03/2014 10:12:53 MG Dug Thanks everyone for the feedback. Yellowzed, When I was deciding on mounting positions, the key points were rigidity and ease of moving the camera between positions. I then road tested to check all was ok. However, the mount hanging from the front bar of the cage had too much vibration at track speeds so I didnt include any of the footage - I need to redesign the mount in time for Snetterton. The in car mount is flat steel attached to an exhaust clamp on the roll cage. The front mount is aluminium angle bolted onto the grille to slam panel supports.
