What went well: Sign-on starting earlier due to early gate opening Briefing short & on-schedule Pit lane marshalling & starting sessions on time What could be better: Noise testing sporadic due to lack of Goodwood personnel More instruction slots booked than we had space to accommodate What we can do differently No need for wristbands for briefing as Goodwood have their own Avoid Green wristbands as Goodwood ones are dark green

Word documents from 2013, but note indemnities are 2014 ones using the latest indemnity, subject to any change that may be made following the review Steve H, Nigel S and John D are undertaking. This event is also different because of the parade laps just before lunch time, so the risk assessment is different to the October one due to inclusion of item 18 - Incident or vehicle impact during parade lap session. Also there is a seperate indemnity to the track day one, this needs to be presented to the person running the parade lap booking in and all parade lap participants must complete one. But note the parade lap participants do not do the Goodwood indemnity as well. Finally there is a word version of my initial circuit contact e-mail once I have all my paperwork in place to start the day.

Just a comment on instruction slots; I had a similar problem at CC2 where we had only booked 2 instructors but put 2 people from the beginner group out during the sighting laps (as we have discussed previously). It worked fine and the drivers were both happy with the arrangement as they had also booked coaching in the afternoon. I would keep the price the same as it makes it easier to schedule the instruction slots and to decide who will go out on the sighting laps closer to the day. With the noise testing, one of us could scan the queue from time to time and pull out people in the first session to take priority.
