Well done to Nigel Silman and Paul Bryson for another fantastic day. Spare a thought for poor Nigel, he event managed this rearranged day from the USA whilst working out there, well done mate top job. Paul did another fantastic job getting everything going and keeping the ball rolling throughout the day, not easy given the challenging conditions during the morning. Throughly enjoyed my day and driving standards were very good as always. Well done chaps - top job :D

Yes... Well done to Nigel and Paul... I attended Goodwood, purely in the line of Publicity, but as a little bonus got a session on the 'new' drifting circuit in a Toyota GT86 and thanks to Martin C was shown how well a ZS 120 can go! I wonder though if Martin H has conquered his passenger ride fear??

Great day on a great circuit. Not a huge fan of damp/wet circuits, but the afternoon sessions were superb. Julian and I had a couple of instructor slots each with Bradley during the day, and that made it even more fun. Thanks to all the organisers and looking forward to next year already. Even got provisional permission this morning to go to Cadwell Park, which may be on my wife's birthday!

great day, started wet but steadily dried up during the day. well run day, and for those who booked quickly the added bonus of a drift session in a toyota gt86 courtesy of goodwood which was great fun also. Have noticed that goodwoods sister website 'fortyonesix' has an article about the trackday Thankyou to the committee for allowing an non BL car join in, hopefully it was not frowned upon too much by other participants. Did have a bit of an issue with the sound test, first attempt was 110dB even with a 'merlin motorsport' special additional muffler. We packed in some extra wire wool which did the trick & just about passed the second attempt but did rather restrict the performance of the car. We had a few worried faces in the afternoon when the wire wool caught fire....
I wonder though if Martin H has conquered his passenger ride fear??
As the Chauffeur of our Honorable Secretary........... I can confirm he did :D Although I am hoping the fingernail imprints will have come out of the trim in about a week  He even managed to speak, imagine my surprise when the words uttered weren't - "Are we there yet" or "Can I open my eyes now" :p

I haven't regained the power of speech yet but am just about managing to write... I have a lot of respect now for both the ZS 120 and Martin who I am convinced on at least a couple of occasions forgot which pedal the brake one is!! Thanks for the lift !!!

Would also like to add huge thanks to those involved in organising such a brilliant day.:D Weather better than anticipated and I was very pleased with how my tyres performed, having never tried them on a damp track. Never been to Goodwood before, what a gem of a cicuit, just right for an old 'B' with an old  driving it! Looking forward to Brands in December, I'm getting excited already! Cheers, Richard

It was amusing to see all the Loti sliding around as I understeered past. In the other session it looked like we all forgot to tell Martin that the track was wet! He was flying round in the ZS.
