Did anyone pick up a box containing the toolkit that you get in the boot of the Zeds? Mine has gone missing from Garage 26 and I'm wondering if someone picked it up by mistake? Would you mind checking your boots to see if you have picked it up please? It has the jack in it, a bar to get the nuts off a few other bits and crucially the locking wheel nut. I left it on the side (the left as you look at the pitlane) next to a green box with a bottle of oil in and I also left a footpump on top of it. I would be very grateful if this is returned to me. Thanks for a great day and looking forward to the vids. (I was the Yellow ZR in the red session). Andy

Not all our tracksters come in here regularly. If you don't get any luck, let us know and we can email those on the session list. Tim

Did you leave stuff near a white bgt and various zt's? I'm pretty sure I didnt pick up anything up that wasnt mine, but someone left a torch and zt stuff in my spare wheel. Maybe it was in with that? I'll have another check tonight, just in case.

Hi Nick, Thanks for your reply. Yes I was. My car was the yellow ZR. I was parked near the ZTs and a white B as you have noticed. I'm not so fussed about the jack and such but I really do need the locking wheel nut back from whoever took it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Andy, I have sent out an e-mail to all participants as I suspect that a number of them will not have seen this on the forum. I will let forward on any responses. Did you check with Silverstone in case it got moved by mistake and was left somewhere in the garages?

Andy, I was in garage 25, didn't see anything extra laying around and I have checked my box of spare bits I had with me, nothing in there. Locking wheel nuts are a pain in the proverbial when the tool goes walkabout, however most independant garages and good tyre fitting bays have special tools for this very occasion and therefore you can at least get the locking nuts removed.:) I usually replace them with standard nuts to prevent this type of problem, also wheel theft is not common as a rule. Hope you get sorted, Richard.

Andy, I don't know if you got yourself sorted. I have a jack and wheelbrace with foam insert - and steel spare wheel - from my wrecked ZR that I would be happy to sell. I also have a set of locking wheel nuts if you are interested. Do you know the code of your set?
