Hi I'm new to MGoT. I'm looking to do a few track days with you guys in my MG ZR 160. I live in petersfield near Goodwood and work at rolls royce so I'm always around Goodwood. Point of writing this new topic was to introduce my self and i see the Goodwood for 28th is fully booked but is it ok for me to pop up and say hello and see what kind of cars are out on these track days and people etc? Thanks James

Hi James, Firstly welcome to MGoT. In response to your question about spectating at Track days, then the answer is a definite yes and you will be made most welcome. Many of our committee and other members will offer you a passenger ride during one of the sessions as well if you make yourself known to us. All committee members wear MGoT logo'd tops / sweatshirts and wet weather gear so you should be able to find us. i am event manager and Day manager for the next Goodwood day so won't be driving myself, but would be glad to meet you and introduce you to some of our members. Another option is to add you to our reserve list for the event - pretty ofetn we find we get cancellations as cars go wrong, work gets in the way or other factors come into play and we look to resell the place - I have done this with one place for the Goodwood day already. Let me know via e-mail if this would be of interest - my contact details are on this page here: http://www.mgs-on-track.com/contactus hope to see you at Goodwood in October. All the best, Nigel

I would love to but it's got along way yet I done my 1st track session at silverstone on Sunday and it made me realise how awful my tyres are in the wet lol. So have got to buy some tyres and new brakes before my next outing but I will 110% pop down before work as I don't start until 3 :) Thanks James
