Thanks to everyone for a great day, one of the best ever ! Thanks to the MG on Track guys for organising it. Thanks to Barry Evans, he certainly knows how to get the best out of you provided you are prepared to listen and put the work in - you are a legend Barry. Thanks to Lee (or was it Martin) for the spirited drive that made the whole day worthwhile. Sorry the video did not come out :-( The GoPro took a photo of my ugly mug instead of video footage. Thanks to Nic for a go in the RV8 and Simon for showing me how it should be done. Silverstone.....bring it on !!!

Yes, a good day only marred by the showery weather although I think we got 4 sessions on dry track. I managed to leave my helmet of its bag and up side down like a bucket in the worst shower so had a rather damp feeling and spectacular 'helmet hair' for the rest of the day. Good Job Dave for the event management and Paul for the Day Management. Look forward to lots of photos in the gallery and video links in this forum. See many of you at Silverstone in a couple of weeks. Tim

I should like to echo the thanks for a good day, in good company. I even saw the sun for the first time at Castle Combe! Also thanks to Barry for showing me how to do it properly.

I am pleased to hear everyone had a great day but what most saddens me about missing CC is not being able to witness your 'Helmet Hair' Tim ?!?! Did anyone manage to 'pap' this extraordinary phenomenon which ranks up there with The Northern Lights and post on Twitter???

All is safely gathered in thanks Stu and for anyone interested I think there is a Beeb 2 programme tomorrow night featuring 'Harvest 2013' in all it's glory. There's one for all The Archer fans but it might give a flavour of what strange things we do out in those fields everyone drives by on their way to the beach around this time of the year - well a month or so back. Bit too chilly again now! All the best

Great day at Castle Combe again despite the wet conditions in the morning. In session 2 I thought I would make camp corner harder for everyone by parking up in the middle of it;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYbqDc9hR3o Apologies to the cars behind that had to take avoiding action. Well done for missing me!

Newbie What a great day :D Certainly the best value I have ever had. Many thanks to Barry for tuition and extra tips, also to Doug for "showing me the ropes" on my first visit. Even the rain couldn't spoil my day, I went out in every session and gained valuable experience. Once again thanks all for a great day and keep the good work, next?:D

Can I add my thanks to the powers that be for a very well organised and great day at Castle Combe. Everyone was helpful and friendly, good briefings, well mannered drivers - even the rain was fun. The exhaust on my Midget gave up the ghost during the last session but it got me home. Every Monday should be a track day (except the exhaust bit)! Thanks once again Andy Smith (Red15)
